To be fair, it cuts through regular wood just fine and gets the job done for most small projects. It does struggle a bit when you get into thicker pieces, though, so it’s not exactly perfect.

It’s an okay machine overall, and it does what I need it to do. That said, the quality feels just average to me. I could be wrong, but it kind of seems like they may have cut a few corners on the build. Not terrible, just not as solid as I was hoping.

I had a small issue come up with my Omtech laser and wasn’t sure how the warranty process was going to go. Support checked my info, went through the details, and got the part covered without making it a huge hassle. There was a little back and forth, a little waiting, but nothing out of the ordinary. Overall, I’m happy with how it went and glad they actually stand behind their warranty.

the return process was easy. The refund took a bit longer than I expected, but it did come through in the end, so everything worked out.

My quick take: the prices were easy to see right away, which I liked. But then the shipping cost popped up at checkout and kind of threw me off

The box showed up a bit dented, which wasn’t great, but the machine inside was sorta fine and stayed protected enough.

Overall, the accessories feel solid and I’m mostly happy with them. There was a small issue, but nothing major. For the price, it feels fair, and I appreciate when a product is made with at least a basic level of care and decency

I used omtech.com mostly for the setup docs, and overall I thought they were clear. The steps were laid out in a way that made sense, and the pictures helped a lot, especially when I wanted to make sure I was doing things right.
There were a couple spots where I felt like the settings were kind of glossed over, or maybe I just missed something, but I had to pause and double-check myself. Still, I ended up getting what I needed without too much guessing, so I’d say the docs did their job well

I’ve had my OMTech laser for a while now, it’s been really reliable for me. I know people like to pick apart machines in this price range, but mine has been solid. I use it a few times a week, and it pretty much just fires up and gets the job done without making a big production out of it.
So far, I’ve only had to keep up with the normal cleaning and make a few small adjustments here and there, which is expected with any laser. No strange problems, no random breakdowns, nothing that’s made me regret buying it. For what I paid, I really don’t think I can complain.

I got my laser from omtech the price is what really pushed me to buy it. I looked around at a few other places first, and this one just seemed like the best deal for what you actually get.

My laser is currently down, and trying to get help through omtech.com has been a headache. Simple replacement parts either show as out of stock or there’s no clear answer on when they’ll be available. Annoying. I’ve been waiting days just to get a response, and when I do, it’s not really useful. Frustrating. The whole machine is basically useless right now because of one small part...

My Omtech laser has been working well overall, but I’ll be honest, I didn’t realize how much I’d have to keep up with it. Cleaning, checking the mirrors, making sure the water is good, none of it is really hard, but it does feel like there’s always something I need to stay on top of. It’s a solid machine, just a little more maintenance pressure than I expected at first.

I picked up the 80W Omtech mostly to cut plywood, and once I got the focus dialed in, it’s been doing a good job. It cuts through 1/4 inch birch without putting up much of a fight, which is what I was hoping for.
Getting the settings right took me a little longer than I expected. Some sheets needed slower speeds than I thought they would, so there was definitely some experimenting involved. And then suddenly I was standing there like, why am I emotionally negotiating with a laser cutter? Anyway, it worked out.

For the price, I’m happy with the power and performance. I’d probably give it 5 stars if the setup instructions were a bit clearer, but overall it’s been a solid machine once you learn its quirks.

I ordered from omtech.com and figured it would take a bit longer to arrive, but it showed up fast. The tracking updated like it should, and the box got here in good shape. I was just pleasantly surprised by how smooth the shipping was, if that makes sense. No complaints from me.

Overall, communication was good. They usually replied quickly, though a few messages felt a little short and I had to read between the lines a bit. Nothing major, just something I noticed.
